things here are pretty basic. my friends on the other hand have all kinds of wonderful stuff going on. i have four incredible best friends. some people have had a problem in the past with me saying i have four best friends. they argue that there can only be one best friend, that having more than one negates the whole "best" part of the title. nevertheless, i still say i have four best friends. all four of them are unique, gifted, beautiful, fun girls. i'm so blessed to have them in my life.

ok, so their lives are full of stuff right now. megan and her husband, jason are expecting their second child in march. jessica and her husband, baron have just moved to pennsylvania where baron is starting law school. alison just got engaged to a great guy, fred and they are planning to get married in april or may. mary virginia has a wonderful new boyfriend (who i'll get to meet tonight!) and is making plans to move to brazil as part of a mission team. i'm so excited for and proud of them! somehow i feel incredibly blessed because they are being blessed. it's funny how it works that way.

as all this news came rolling in, i was dealing with a little bit of "news envy" since i don't really have anything exciting going on, but then i remembered i'm going to spain and london. that is pretty exciting news. peace.
