sometimes as i'm going about my life i wonder what would happen if i just kind of spaz out at certain unopportune times. you know, like tripping at embarassing moments, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, flushing my keys down the toilet (i'll have to blog about that one and the wisdom i gained from the experience later), or just for example, dropping that little plastic cylinder/tube thing that you use at the drive-thru at the bank under your car while there are many cars lined up behind you. well, you don't have to wonder anymore, because i did it just a few minutes ago. and, i have to say it wasn't so bad. i was blessed to be surrounded by very gracious and kind people who helped me out and smiled in spite of dropping the tube thing and making them wait. i'm sure i looked hilarious trying to get out of my car - of course i had pulled up as close as possible so that i wouldn't drop the thing - so it was a little tight. anyway, as ridiculous as i'm sure i looked, these little incidents (which happen on a regular basis) just remind me not to take myself too seriously and help me keep a healthy check on my sense of humor about myself. they also keep my friends and whoever is around me at the time very entertained i'm sure.
