yikes! almost a month since my last blog! well, may was pretty packed. my beach trip with my mom and my sisters was great. we basically sit on the beach, talk, and eat seafood. to a lot of people that sounds really boring i guess, but we love it. none of us were ready to leave. i think if i wouldn't have had a flight out, they would have stayed an extra day. we've already decided to extend our trip next year.

hmmm, so the rest of may... i'm not sure what happened to it. it flew by in a flurry of summer details.

i did attend oneday which was amazing - only because it was all about an amazing God. brad, the interns, and me got there on saturday and set up our campsite. that night there were non-stop storms for hours. it was so scary! later some of the leaders of oneday talked about those storms as the arrival of God to our gathering and i tend to agree with them. i was reminded at oneday what a terrible, mighty, powerful God He is. i was reminded of the tension that there is between the holiness of God and the fact that through Christ we can approach Him. it blows my mind! i'm still overwhelmed by the whole thing.
