these days i'm taken with/obsessed with this film and organization, invisible children. the film documents the situation in northern uganda where children have been abducted, brainwashed, and trained to part of a rebel army since 1986. children are afraid they will be taken from their homes so every night they commute into larger cities to find a "safe" place to sleep. three guys from california traveled to uganda in 2003 and stumbled on this situation. they began filming and listening to childrens' stories and came away determined to let people know what is happening in northern uganda. please spend some time at their website and order the dvds (2 for $20). check out and see how you can get involved.
